No the handle is not sold separately. It comes with the standard handle there is an option to buy the different style of handles Miche Bag carries.

As the mother of a 14-year old fashionista, I am so excited to learn about these purses! My daughter thinks she needs a new handbag every other week, so it would be so cool for her to have interchangeable handbags! I can’t believe she hasn’t told me about this before!

Your Bag is very cool. I have a friend that changes her purse almost every day in order for it to match her clothes and all of her accessories, so this purse would be a perfect holiday gift for her. I am happy that I have found this.
